This privacy policy explains how mythoswin9.com (“this website”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data. We are an independent guide to the Mythoswin casino for UK players; we are not Mythoswin and we do not run a gambling service. We process personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are the controller for the limited data described below.
Because we do not offer accounts, gaming or payments, we collect very little about you. In short: we only see what you choose to send us through the question form, plus the basic technical logs that every website produces when it serves a page. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not know whether you hold a Mythoswin account unless you tell us. The details are below.
1. What data we collect
| Source | Data | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Question form (support page) | Your name or nickname, email address, your message | Only what you choose to send |
| Server and CDN logs | IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, date and time, referring page | Collected automatically by our hosting provider/CDN |
| Responsible gambling self-test | Nothing | Answers are processed in your browser and never leave your device |
| Accounts | Nothing | You cannot create an account on this website |
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, passwords, card or bank details, identity documents or your Mythoswin login details. We do not collect special category data, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
What we never see
We have no access to your Mythoswin account. Registration, verification, deposits and withdrawals all happen on Mythoswin’s own platform, and are covered by Mythoswin’s privacy policy. Our guides to Mythoswin registration and KYC verification explain those processes, but we do not handle any of that data.
2. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies or similar storage, for example to deliver pages securely, protect the site against abuse and remember basic settings. These do not need consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations because the website cannot work properly without them.
We do not set advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies or social media pixels. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site should still work.
When you leave our site
Links to /play are affiliate links that redirect you to Mythoswin. Once you arrive on the operator’s website, Mythoswin and its affiliate tracking partners may set their own cookies or record a referral reference so that the sign-up can be attributed to us. That processing is controlled by the operator under its own cookie and privacy policies.
3. Why we use your data and our lawful bases
| Purpose | Data used | Lawful basis (UK GDPR Article 6) |
|---|---|---|
| Replying to questions sent through the form | Name, email, message | Legitimate interests in answering your enquiry |
| Running, securing and fixing the website | Server/CDN logs | Legitimate interests in keeping the site available and safe |
| Detecting abuse, spam and attacks | Server/CDN logs, form submissions | Legitimate interests in protecting the site and its users |
| Meeting legal obligations | Any relevant data | Legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered the effect on you and keep the data to the minimum we need. We do not sell your data, use it for automated decision-making or profiling, or send you marketing.
4. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the website, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- our hosting provider and content delivery network (CDN), which serve pages and record server logs;
- the service that receives and stores question-form submissions.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. We may also disclose data if the law requires it. We do not pass your form submissions to Mythoswin.
5. How long we keep data
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Question-form submissions and our replies | Up to 12 months after the conversation ends, then deleted |
| Server and CDN logs | Kept for a short period set by the hosting provider, typically no more than 30 days, unless needed to investigate abuse |
| Self-test answers | Not stored by us at all |
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure of your data in certain circumstances.
- Restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Data portability where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means.
To use any of these rights, send a request through the question form on our support page. We may need to confirm your identity, for example by replying to the email address you used. We will respond within one month, which can be extended by two further months for complex requests. Using your rights is free in most cases.
7. Complaints to the ICO
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk. Concerns about how Mythoswin handles your casino account data should go to Mythoswin, and then to the ICO if needed.
8. Security
The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We limit access to form submissions to the people who need it to reply, and we ask our providers to apply appropriate security measures. No website can be completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through the form. If we ever become aware of a personal data breach that is likely to put your rights at risk, we will tell you and, where the law requires it, report it to the ICO within 72 hours.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The current version is always on this page, and the date in the page information shows when it was last revised. For anything about privacy, use the form on the support page. Our terms and conditions explain the other rules for using this website, and our responsible gambling page lists free UK support services.
This website is for adults aged 18+ only; please gamble responsibly and visit BeGambleAware.org for free support.
Questions about this topic
Does this site see my Mythoswin account or payment details?
+
No. mythoswin9.com is an independent guide, not the Mythoswin casino. You cannot create an account here, we never receive your casino login, card or bank details, and we cannot see your Mythoswin balance or history. Anything you share with Mythoswin is covered by Mythoswin's own privacy policy, not this one.
Are my answers to the self-test stored anywhere?
+
No. The self-assessment on our responsible gambling page runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and score are calculated on your own device and are never sent to our servers or to anyone else. Closing or refreshing the page clears them.
Do you use advertising or tracking cookies?
+
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We only use what is strictly necessary for the website to work securely. If you click a /play link and go to Mythoswin, the operator may use its own cookies or tracking from that point, under its own privacy policy.
How do I ask for my data to be deleted?
+
Send a request through the question form on our support page and tell us what you want us to do. We will reply within one month, as UK GDPR requires. If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
